Do you want to join the Kindness Crew? Kindness is something everyone can do!

TORONTO - For Jake & Toby, two adorable puppy brothers in search of people to help, spreading kindness in their community always leads to fun adventures and new friends too.

Jake & Toby are real-life cockapoo brothers and the stars of a new children’s book, “Jake & Toby’s Big Adventure,” written by their human family — Heather, Matt, Jadyn & Julia Sherman.

The book is the newest initiative from 50 Days of Kindness, an organization created by the Shermans to inspire children and adults about the power of kindness.

Several studies have shown that being kind is good for your brainIt can also lower your stress, decrease your blood pressure and improve your heart health.

Through Jake & Toby’s adventures, the Shermans hope to encourage everyone, everywhere to spread kindness in their own communities and beyond.

“The beauty of kindness is that it’s free — everyone can do it, and everyone can benefit from it,” says Heather Sherman, co-author of the book, and co-founder of 50 Days of Kindness. “Through Jake & Toby’s adventures, our hope is that children and the adults in their lives are inspired to pay kindness forward in their own communities.”

“Jake & Toby’s Big Adventure” (available on Amazon) is perfect for children of all ages, and the parents, grandparents, guardians and teachers who love, teach and care for them.

About 50 Days of Kindness

In 2020, the Shermans were motivated to start 50 Days of Kindness as a way to help others in their community and end the year on a positive note, by performing random acts of kindness for the last 50 days of the year. In doing this, they learned together as a family about the power of kindness to help, heal and build resilience.

Today, 50 Days of Kindness has evolved into a purpose-driven, social enterprise that puts kindness into the world to improve the well-being of individuals and inspire people to make positive contributions to society, and toward a healthier planet.

They do this by running an annual Kindness Challenge, promoting influential change makers, and developing content & educational materials to inspire and empower everyone, everywhere about the true power of kindness.
